Jug w-Saucer

you know, everytime i see a piece like this, i always wonder to myself whether i want to be able to do this kind of art. what i mean is that i'd expect to see something like this in the permanent collection of some or other museum, and i probably wouldn't notice it among the thousands of other french or italian masterpieces. i find it more striking that this is being done by someone living today, not that anyone should or shouldn't practice a specific genre. anyhow, with my initial comment, and with my proclivity toward cartoons, i've never really tried or had much interest in doing this kind of art. still, perhaps it's high time that i faced this new (or i guess old, depending on how you look at it) challenge.
